Ocean City 2007
My annual vacation to Ocean City Maryland was completed about 3 weeks ago. This year I decided to take my friend Dexter Lee with me. It was pretty cool. We left at about 5 A.M. on July 14, and stayed for a week. We stopped at the Gateway Inn in Breezewood for breakfast, and then proceeded to cross the Ches. Bay Bridge at about 1 P.M. it was a fitting way to see the ocean for the first time in a year, like it always it, as the bridge is very high, and quite long as well. We traveled for another two hours, then took the bridge onto the barrier island that is Ocean City. We stayed at the Empress Motel, a small budget place with a perfect location half a block away from the boardwalk and the shore on 21st street. The bay side is about 3 blocks parallel to the
shore. We spent most of our time either at the beach in the water and playing football, walking the boardwalk, playing miniature golf, hanging out at the pool, or trying to find the perfect pair of aviators. (and I did) We spent a week there and then left to go home. Obviously it was too short, but that's that, and I can't wait to do it again next year, and miss more football practice.
