I just finished watching the evening news, and I'm just beside myself. Here's the story. A teacher in Pine-Richland High School found a list with students names on and promptly reported it to the administration, fearing it was something sinister, namely a hit-list. Despite the fact that the administration along with law-enforcement determined without a doubt that this was not a hit list, nor anything related to one, they questioned the three students who authored the list, then promptly suspended them. SUSPENDED THEM! Their reason? The students caused an unnecessary incident. BULL SHIT! If that is not the biggest miscarriage of justice by a school district I have ever heard of, then shoot me. Put me on your hit list, I don't care! The students in question do nothing wrong, break no school rules, and are suspended by the district because of their own self-deemed "incident". If I was one of those students, somebody's ass would be in court faster than you can say "suspended"."God knows, people who are paid to have attitudes toward things, professional critics, make me sick; camp-following eunuchs of literature. They won't even whore. They're all virtuous and sterile. And how well meaning and high minded. But they're all camp-followers." - HEMINGWAY
