Dynamo Repeat as MLS Champs: Croatia Stuns England - Again

Well, all is right in the world of my favorite sport. Over the weekend, the Houston Dynamo took it to the New England Revolution in the second half, coming from a 1-0 deficit to beat the Revs 2-1. Taylor Twellman scored in the 30-something'th minute by means of his head on, and I've got to admit as much as I hate his pretty-boy persona, what was a very good goal. (idk if that was proper grammar just there) In the second half however, they took their foot off the gas a considerable amount, and they paid. Ngwenya for Houston (I think that's who it was) scored a messy goal on second opportunity, and not that long after, the eventual MVP Dwayne De Rosario found net with a fabulous header of his own. The game was played at RFK Stadium in front of about 39,000 fans, and oddly enough, a ton of D.C. United fans were there for no particular reason other than to cheer there team on, though United was knocked out in the first round...devoted fans I guess. Also, regarding MLS Cup 2008, to be played on the 28th of November, next year, it will be played at the Home Depot Center, home to the struggling L.A. Galaxy. Said MLS Commissioner Don Garber. "The pageantry and top-notch presentation of two previous MLS Cups and the inaugural SuperLiga final prove that The Home Depot Center is a superb stage for national and international showcase events like MLS Cup 2008."
Anyway, in more important news, England is gone, out of Euro 2008, courtesy of Croatia. YES!!!!! My Croatia side kicked England's pompous ass out of the tournament, and not too many people thought they could, even after they beat them the first time they met, calling that a fluke. Well this time, they were playing for their lives, and the Croats matched them blow for blow. I don't know the details right now because I rushed off to write this, but I do know that Croatia was leading 2-0 nothing at half, and England scored twice off a penalty, and a David Beckham (subbed in) kick that found Peter Crouch's head. Shortly after the score was tied however, Petric (subbed in also) scored from 20 yards to put Croatia in the lead for good. I guess that leaves one thing for me to say. GO CROATIA
