Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Prime Minister of Iran, has said in some interview with some reporter recently that if Palestine were to recognize Israel, and accept a two-state solution to the problem at hand, Iran would go with that. From a diplomatic standpoint, this is good, because I have always thought that creating two separate states is the best solution, and the least Israel can do for displacing millions of Palestinians. From another standpoint though, call it what you will, this is bullocks. Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying somehting along the lines of:
"Whatever Palestine decides, Iran will have no problem with."
What is this? Can't He think for himself? So if the Palestinians decide to bomb the Russians, just like Andy Samberg did in his video "Like a Boss", I suppose Iran would have no problem with that as well? There is obviously a great deal of sympathy in the Muslim world for the plight of the Palestinians, and Ahmadinejad is simply sucking up and cashing in. Disagree? You can suck it too.
